Google claims world's most popular search engine title
Not that you probably needed telling this, but Google is dominating search engine usage around the world with over 61% of internet vistors using the site according to ComScore.
The metrics measurer has just released stats from its new worldwide search analysis and found that Google is beating the competition hands down.
In fact Google's nearest competitor is Yahoo on a paltry 14% share of usage.
Microsoft is doing even worse with just 3.5% coming in behind China's Baidu, but at least it is beating Ask and Lycos who barely even register in the top 10.
The numbers are from internet users aged 15 and over and do not include traffic from public computers such as Internet cafes or access from mobile phones or PDAs.
