What attracted you to doing this?
The fact that I enjoy technology and it is inspiring to see how it can be put to good use. For instance, look at how mobile phones have changed the way we live our lives.

What does your typical day involve?
Working on cutting edge technology, seeing the future before anyone else. Also working in a great multicultural environment is fantastic.

How did you get to where you are today?
I think my degree at Southampton University was a great foundation for my career, especially doing the MEng enabled me to get a feel for working on the latest technologies in a project environment. I am always learning while at work, there are always new challenges to get over. I have also been on some technical courses to give me a good foundation in telecomms.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of following your path?
Sure other jobs may pay more, but in my opinion it is more important to do something that interests you and makes you want to go to work in the morning.
