Guided in new directions by satellite
The European Space Agency (ESA) has announced a new innovation prize as part of their satellite navigation competition.
Aiming to find the best ideas for new businesses incorporating navigational technology, the initiative is expected to launch a number of new enterprises in Europe.
Already, satellite navigation has branched out into developing new systems that measure carbon footprints and trace flooding. The aim is to find even more.
Part of The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), which was primarily focused on technology, the contest is open to universities, entrepreneurs, research institutes and companies.
