The Engineering and Technology Board (ETB) and Howdens Insurance have introduced a specialist professional insurance scheme for Chartered Engineers.
The scheme, entitled simply ‘the Engineering Scheme’, which already has 700 members, is designed to provide cost effective protection to Chartered Engineers without compromising on policy coverage or risk management advice. Its benefits include: low premiums (from as little as £550, which can be spread over the year), up to £5 million indemnity cover, support from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP and a free legal helpline.
